Poli'ala Warwick, DPT
Poli'ala Warwick, DPT, is 2 years shy of being a Colorado native. She earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion at the University of Wyoming, where she became especially interested in how access, movement and other factors can shape people’s health. She went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Duke University in 2020 (and yes, she is still a very proud—and occasionally obnoxious—Blue Devils fan). The past 6 years she have been practicing in North Carolina and Texas in a variety of outpatient clinics with populations spanning the spectrum: non operative cases, post op care, chronic pain management, trauma cases, TMJ management.
Poli’s treatment approach is collaborative. She sees every patient as an active member of the treatment team, and wants your plan to be built around what matters most to you. You two will set meaningful goals together, figure out what it will take to get there, and build a plan that actually fits into your life—not one that requires you to put life on hold.
Outside of the clinic, she loves rock climbing, yoga, lifting, and hiking with her husband and dog. When she is not moving, she is probably in the kitchen cooking or baking—or planning her next trip around where they can eat more yummy treats. If it is football season they will be cheering for the Longhorns, and if it's March they’ll be in Duke Blue.
